UTH10 – GRAVEL

The “UTH10 – Gravel” is a fast but demanding run: it takes place exclusively on gravel forest roads and asphalt – not a trail run! Nevertheless, we recommend grippy shoes for optimal traction.

The race starts, as with all races, at the festival hall in Margrethausen. The route initially follows asphalt into the Käsetal valley towards the youth campsite, before turning right onto the gravel Rohrbachweg path. This gently undulating section leads you halfway up to Pfeffingen. After crossing the ski lift, the Burgfelder Steige awaits – a short but very steep climb where the wheat is separated from the chaff.

Once you reach the top, the trail continues on a level path towards Burgfelden. Shortly before entering the village, turn left and descend steeply on a gravel path back into the Käsental valley. After this downhill section, it’s time to pick up speed and head full throttle towards the youth campsite!

There’s one last short climb before you turn onto the final downhill section towards the finish. This section is the most technically demanding part of the course – so stay focused! The last few meters are on asphalt again until you reach the finish line.
