Crewing

We have your fuelling and support covered on all our courses. Our aid stations provide everything you need for a successful race. If you would also like support from your own crew, personal assistance (crewing) is officially permitted at the aid stations.

To keep the race fair for all runners and ensure emergency access routes remain clear, all crews must follow a few essential rules.

The Golden Rules for Crews

  • Designated zones: Crewing is only permitted within the designated area, starting shortly after the timing checkpoint and extending to approximately 50 metres beyond the aid station. The official UTH refreshment tables and the areas before and at the timing checkpoint are reserved exclusively for runners.
  • No pacing: Accompanying runners on the course on foot or by bicycle to provide a slipstream or set their pace is not permitted.
  • Fair play & respect for nature: Please dispose of all rubbish in the bags provided at the aid stations and keep the natural surroundings clean.
